Thanks for posting this, Rose. Of course, I’m thinking of my dad who served in WWII – signed up at age 18. Nonno Charlie and Uncle Al served as well. I will call my Uncle Bob who served in Vietnam tonight or tomorrow. My cousin, Sandy, Dad’s niece, served 27 years as an Air Force nurse, and her nephew, Matthew served at least two tours of duty in Afghanistan, I’m grateful for our servicemen and women, and proud of our family members who have served.
